    Freezer ***** choice

What would be the pro's and con's of using R22 for a freezer ? I have a customer that wants to use R22 because it is cheaper than 408A I am having to change his condensing unit out because the coil is leaking and can't be fixed so he lost all his ***** . So he wants to go back with R22 because of the cost saving of using 22 instead of 408. Do you guys know of any freezers that run off of R22 ? I have not came across any. I know the compressor oil will have to be changed and the txv power head and orfice. Any suggestions or reason on this issue ? Thanks for your input

dont bother with r22 use 404a,we have banned r22 over here yes its good for freezers so if you can legally use it go ahead it uses mineral oil,404a needs poe oil.

must add if you can legally use r22 then go ahead and install mineral oil,if using 404a poe oil must be used.
