    help with 2079

Hi I am a C & G qualified engineer, but I have been out the game for over 8 years and am now returning so am a bought to do my 2079, as it’s been a while since completing any A/C work and it was all R22 when i left, can anyone give me some good books that deal with new gasses, as well as a reminder, and prep for the new course.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,
I would have thought all that is provided by your training company. How many days training do you have with a tutor prior to your assessment?

    .

    Hi Ross.

If you have been out of the trade for a while you will not be current with
new refrigerants but you will not have forgotten the principles its based on.

Do you have a 2078 or CITB?

If you do you will know about Montreal and Kyoto.
If not then learn about them. Then you need to think Fridge, not AC
the exam is a refrigeration based exam and you need to know how
    a basic refrigeration circuit works.

    All the best

As said a basic system function is just about enough.
But new regulatory information on requirements for record keeping etc should be given during training

i agree quality,a uniformed log book etc should be worked thru my paperwork skills are crap you should be alright with a 3 day course,i honestly thought 2078 questions were more difficult.
