Trane Air-Cooled Chiller
I heard Trane air-cooled chiller got such feature "rapid start" which when incoming power lost and resume, total time to be taken from incoming resume until to compressor running at 100% is 300 seconds. May i know which model? thanks!!

i believe that you are refering to tranes advertisment for their new cvgf centravac unit,
this is a centrifugal unit.

Hi goshen,
thanks for the info.
but what i heard is Not water cooled centravac unit, it is air-cooled. but never mention which type of the compressor.

through settings in the machine or by use of something called "base loading"it is indeed possible to get the RTAC's to run full load within 300 seconds, even faster on some models.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

hi Lowrider,
you meant default software has such settings to enable or the settings is from custom software which need to download to the controller if customer needs such rapid start feature.
may i know which model that you have mentioned to run full load within 300 seconds, even faster? thanks!
