    Diagonal pipe work???

Got some lines to run over a coldroom roof, generally like to run things nice and square but from an efficientcy, materials and time taken point of view a more direct route has a lot to be said for it. Other than looks are there any other reasons not to take a more direct route?

on the provision your not running over electrics or any other source of faults surely the direct route is the best you can make it just as tidy and 45 dc bends are less restrictive but its minimal and the way cost of cu is riseing why not certain ac units state a minimum pipe run but most equipment the lesser the run the better

    .
    I agree.

As long as they do not cause a step or trip hazzard (which all pipes may) and so
long as they are not going to be in view I can't see any reason why not.

If anything you are conforming to Institute Of refrigeration guidelines by keeping
    piperuns to a minimum.

    All the best
