Leaking distributor
Hello guys, can any of you tell me if and where you can get a replacement distributor for small cold room coolers. Or would I be better off trying to make one?

Re: Leaking distributor
Dean and Wood have a selection in their catalogue. Last one i had leak i stuffed the two capillaries into some 1/2" and squished it into a figure of eight round the two caps, brazed it all up and made sure it was horizontal so they both got similar flow. It got thte cold room working again on the weekend and as it seemed to work ok never got round to putting a propper one back in there.

Re: Leaking distributor
The distributor was in a pretty poor state, possibly more than one leak point. Waving a brazing torch over it may have made it worse, couldn't risk it during busy weekend lunchtime. Might be easier to make one like you said Jon, the access is terrible in this coldroom.

If you can find a Sporlan supplier you should be able get something to fit...
