    LG MB09AHL Fan Run Signal

Evening All, long time lurker, first time poster!

    I've a customers who's just had 3 LG MB09AHL's installed.
The ducting run lengths are causing pressure drop, and more of a drift of air from the diffuser!
I intend to fit an in-line booster fan, but to ensure it wont run all the time I'm trying to pick up a fan run signal from the unit.
I know the LG has an expander pcb for dry contacts (PQDSB) which will give me a run signal, but I'm concerned this will only supply an indication that the unit is on, and give rise to some nasty draughts when in defrost from heating!

Anybody any experience or thoughts with this?

    Scott

can u not increase the static duct pressure to boost airflow or blank 1 grille to increase airflow

    Morning,

Already cranked the ESP as high as will go on these units (would be low static pressure units too!) - and closed down all but one air off to give the best chance, still, even with grilles removed to alleviate any restrictions cant throw air to the floor, still more of a drift.. better, but not quite there.
It wont be helping that the duct runs are fairly long - the unit's certainly have the capacity, but not the airflow.
