    hoover hf39c001



    having a few problems with our hoover hf39c001, just took the back off and defrosted it and found the small tubular sensor swinging in the wind (its white in colour and look like a cigarette) small broken cable ties in the bottom, can anyone tell me where i should cable tie it back onto please thanks

    The no frost sensor is usually fastened onto the evaporator,if it has frosted up its a fair chance that is what it is.

    Usually on the top,not on the defrost heater(will have leads coming from it) which is also embedded in the evaporator,take care over that and place it even distance on either side from the heater .
    Should be signs on the evap where its been ,maybe the fins have been disturbed,look for the origional marks or discolouration left by the clips,anywhere on the top would be OK though.
