    Re: capacity

With those water temps you will be having high discharge pressure problems. The problem would seem to be with the cooling tower, undersized or overloaded. Maybe the compressor is loading too quick during pull down.

and relative humidity very low ....

.... then your wet bulb temperature will be around 25-26*C or lower ... with good cooling tower your can have condensing temperature lower or up to 35*C what is still good ... very good ... OK not the best

assuming you are in hot and dry area of Mexico ....

check your cooling tower as per Magoo's suggestion....

    Re: capacity

With 42 'C ambient and 80% RH. That is a problem. Can you lower the rise across condenser from 7'K to 5.0> 5.5'K by increasing water flow rate, that will drop the SDT slightly. If the make up water temp is lower again try over filling basin.

    Re: capacity

Im in Houston TX and we have same humidity and close to same outside temps as the others said above I would look at the condenser but I do have a cpl other questions. What does your suction psi run and is this compressor a econamized unit, also I would like to ask what type of plant it is..
