Samsung remote does not work

If I can still turn on the unit from the front panel but not from the remote, Is that a remote coding problem?
I have two units AM26B1(B2)B13 and I can not turn them on with the remote. Also one of the units has the timer on and 20 minutes after I turn it on it will turn of.

Any help will be most appreciated

It may not be remote it could be a faulty PCB. Have you got another remote
