    ice cream machine. carpigiani

hi all. I have a customer with a old Carpigiani LABO 16/24. Dose any one know what the switch (micro type) on the end of the belt pulley is for. Is it a safety if the unit over freezers? It looks like the shaft must have some end float for it to work ?????. the other problem is the gearbox/ pulley is leaking oil. Any one out there got any manuals. All answer and help will be much appreciated.

the micro switch controls the ice cream as the ice cream gets colder it gets thicker and the pulley moves back onto the micro switch and stops the machine and starts timer the timer restart machine. there are oil seals behind the pull where the shaft comes out of the gearbox
