    converting a r22 chiller system to 134a/407



    got a project to address a system running on r22,it holds about 14/18 kgs 15hp semi hermitic compressor the room operating at 10degrees c to +3c any ideas/experience of similar.

    R407F sounds quite promising in the literature but i have no practical experience of it.

    Would need ester oil and all the o rings changing etc but thats pretty much the case with any R22 replacement.

    Have one system on R422D, which i don't like but couldn't point to any solid figures as to why, just a gut feeling that it doesn't work as well as the similar R22 unit above it.
    Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)
