    RDM front end panel

Can anyone explain to me the meaning of 'no defrost time' and 'number of defrosts' on the settings menu or the difference between the 2?

There is a large range of RDM models, have a look here and download a manual perhaps..

no defrost time... if the controller on the cabinet is set to remote defrost from front end and it doesnt get a defrost signal in set time limit it will do its own defrost.. has to be set up incase front end goes down... we had a shop front end was down for a few days so all the cabinets did there own defrost after set time

number of defrosts.. say its set for 6 that means 6 defrosts over a 24hr period

No defrost time will alarm if the case does not get a defrost within a given time eg if the defrosts were every 6 hours and the case no defrost was set to 8 hours if the case missed a defrost for a reason ie communication problem or defrost failed when the controller was in local it would alarm missed defrost. No of defrosts (number of defrosts) are the number per 24 hours ie 4 would equal every 6 hours per 24 hrs.
