Heat loads generated in plant propagation rooms
Recently a customer approached us to build an insulated room in which barley plants will be grown. Design conditions specified as 22C 70% RH
I have searched all the usual references for heat of respiration / transpiration information and can find no reference to this.
Can anyboby assist with this search?

Re: Heat loads generated in plant propagation rooms
Hi, steve davison
Interesting topic ... only one question .... why do you need heat of respiration if you are using that room for growing and not for storage and conservation of barley ... can you, please, put some more light on that?
In my opinion you just need to have close control of temperature and humidity within cold room... assumed it will be controlled cultivation ... change of day and night with special lamps etc...
... but, in another hand I can be completely wrong
Best regards, Josip
