Light on but no cold temperature....

I have an intergrated Neff Fridge Freezer, the light is on but that's it! No noise, no humming, no cold temperature. I have just moved in so do not know the history, apart from the appliance being approx 6 years old. Any ideas gratefully received.

Turn the thermostat...maybe the landlord turned it off while vacant...

Yep tried that one thanks, could be compressor I guess as no noise but no expert!

It's not a rented property, otherwise I would be calling them

call out an engineer and put food on his table! before that, check condenser coil is clean and hasn't trripped hi pressure safety switch.
