Clivet MSAN
Hi, has anyone ever recharged a Clivet MSAN 162 dx system before?
The reason i ask is i've been working on a system that has lost its charge and i don't know what the gas charge is.
The condensor says 6.8kg on it and the manual says for every 10m then add 3.7kg.....the pipe run is 60m but do i need to also add refrigerant for the indoor unit as well which is a large floor standing unit (CNV142)
I've spoke to a guy from Clivet and he didn't know the answer.

Re: Clivet MSAN
I asked the guy at Clivet and he seemed to think that i wouldn't need to add the factory charge, just the 3.7kgx6 needed for the pipework which i thought didn't seem right but he admitted that he wasn't sure.
I think the factory charge of 6.8kg must cover the first 10m so maybe need to charge 5x 3.7kg and trim the charge from there.
Yes the indoor does have a sight glass, i'll watch this as i'm charging it.The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.
