    carrier fault codes



    hi to you all , i have a carrier ducted ac system series 38yl i think and its giving me 3 flashes on a green led on the inside pcb any idears?

    Hi,

    you have given the outdoor unit M/n (I think). Anyway 3 flashes usually means that the indoor unit coil thermistor is faulty

    thanks it is and a quick sol is to put a 47k ohm across s1 s2

    Could any one tell me how to re cover all refrigerant from a Daikin 3 pipe system.

    Hi all, this is my first request for help!!!!!!!
    I have a carrier a/c model 38 YLN-18A-703EJ-40 (wall mounted split) indoor unit is showing 4 flashes on green led. It is an old unit and I cant find any info on this one, any ideas?

    I looked through all my Carrier manuals (I have hundreds) but can't find anything for that model, so I logged onto the technical library,but nothing is current there. Usually 4 flashes is a coil thermostor failure
    a problem shared is a problem halved
