R407F?? Anyone heard of or used this??
This one's been thrown a couple of times during gossip time on-site.
'Apparantly, R407F is undergoing trials at some Tesco stores.' *requires citation
It is also marketed as 'Genetron Performax LT' blended by Honeywell.
It could be used as a suitable R22 drop-in for retrofitting, has no ODP, and low GWP of 1825.
Any experience on this one??
There is an info PDF online, search R407F in google.

Re: R407F?? Anyone heard of or used this??
I've read a bit about it and it sounds quite promising, but it would be nice to have some in depth real world system performance details instead of marketing guff.
It still needs an oil change so is not a straigth swap, i'm thinking of trying some out on a milk tank and see.
It might work out a better option than R404A which is what i was thinking of using for retrofits.
