Altherma or Aquarea
Hi all,
Looking at installing an Ashp which was to be a Altherma but i haven't been offered a very good warranty, 3 year parts only! Dont have an account with Daikin so is this why?
However Panasonic Aquarea comes with 5 years labour/parts and can even extend to 7 years.
Not sure on what grants etc you can get with the Panasonic Aquarea nor the Altherma.
What would you guys Install ?
Any info on grants etc

Re: Altherma or Aquarea
If you are a Daikin D1 approved installer for their AC systems you can get & offer a 5 year parts warranty. If you are not a D1 or don't have an account with D UK then 3 years is all you can get. Not sure what the other UK suppliers of Daikin offer.
However, this is an Altherma system. As a Dakin D1 even I can't buy this system until we attend an Altherma training course. Not sure what warranty is available for approved Altherma installers. If in doubt read the instructions. If still in doubt follow them.
