    A lot more information is needed to know if it is undercharged such as;

    What is the superheat?
    What is the subcooling? ( if applicable)
    What type of expansion device? Fixed or tev?
    Air on/off indoor unit
    Air off outdoor unit etc etc

    Welder, as Marc says, you really must start giving a few more facts if you want a decent answer.

    It's a bit like me saying that I have a 36" waist, what colour are my eyes and why?

    One single reading and a quick look do not a diagnosis make.

    You've got 48°, is that air temperature, the temperature of your gas torch cooling down or your coffee from Costa's?
