Smeg FAB 30 always running

Hi, we have a fab30 smeg and it is having one major issue.

The fridge is always cooling, and it is freezing things (regardless of settings), the freezer is fine, and it makes an increasingly loud noise the longer it is on for.

The one thing i have noticed is there is a small gap in the door seal on the bottom right hand side of the door (see below image).

Does anyone have any thoughts?

hi, sounds like your thermostat is buggered , and you need a new door seal, and the load noise = could be short of gas HELP THE ECONAMY BUY A NEW FRIDGE, sedgy,
