need more info about thermo chemical system
I am confronted with a refrigeration technique used in transport boxes.
It's two cylinders separated by a valve. One is the evaporator charged with Ammonia and the other is a reactor with reagents salts. When the valve opens it evaporates the ammonia causing cooling, but in the reactor cylinder the ammonia is trapped by the salts. The temperature difference is high: evaporator -30 degree C and reactor +100 degree C.
Does this become solid? Because in order to recharge the system you need to plug into mains and this releases the ammonia again from the salts. But I do not understand who this seperates adding more heat to the reactor?
Can anyone help me? Is there someone hwo works with this product? It's Coldway branded. HELP!!
