    Anyone has a procedure for propane recovery and recharging back after maintenance?

    hi coolbox, my instuction from my boss when working onyour type of system was DONT PUT GAUGES ON just run and test, sedgy

    Basically you treat it like any other refrigerant as for pump down, liquid transfer, storage, etc.

    wear purge with nitrogen prior to compressor change.
    spark free reclaim rig.
    difficult to charge due to a 1kg bottle with a gaugeline connected on scales is inaccurate due to the weight of the charging hose.
