Refrigeration sculpture
Hello all.
Didn't really know where to post this but anyway.......
Woke up in the middle of the night and had a strange idea.
If I was to use bare copper tube and bent it into the shape of a sculpture and connected it to a condensing unit with a TEV, after a few days my sulpture would form ice.
Form of control would have to be LP control or EPR and would need to be set so evap would not thaw out.
Has anyone heard of this.(or am I insane, tell me I can handle it )

Re: Refrigeration sculpture
Did some searching on the internet on this topic and found some examples. Evaporators were sculptures bent from copper tube.
A bottle pouring into a glass.
A penguin.
and a lamp post.
The ice fills up the gaps between the copper giving you the illusion tha it was a solid object.
Snowman 123.
Would love to see pics of your sculpture.
Botrous.
When you work on a/c and refrig equipment all day, sometimes you will dream about it at night.
