Filter dryer selection
hi
I have 40 tons air cooled water chiller, it has two 20 tons compressors(reciprocating type),section pressure is 65psig and head pressure is 280psig.
unfortunately filter drier specification tag is no more on it and i have to change it .please help me to suggest correct filter drier for my system.

We can't see your machine from here so can't be too positive.
Start here with Sporlan to see if you can identify the model.

drier cores-do an acid test whilst u change them

First you confirm is it Filter drier core or normal Filter drier.Ther is some filter is there like 100% molecular sieves.anyhow youcan select if you have filter drier in the liquid line as per the line size you can select.otherwise if it is core how many core it contains in the shell accordingly you can select.
