sporlan expansion valve question

had one of these faulty,found the power element u/s the valve was 4 ton capacity,however in my stock i had a 1 ton valve so i removed the element from the good valve,now they are both on the same refrigerant r22,the question is will it work?

If the power head is the same then why not?

Yeah, they are the same, KT43 VC if my memory is correct. Fit a lot of them on Fabdec milk tanks as the chemical fumes in the dairy rots them out!

as long as the valve bodys and gaskets match up and you use the correct orifice for the purpose or set the orifice correctly there will be no problem whatsoever.
