Header sizing
Hi All,
after long search on the net, i couldn't find anything for sizing the refrigerant header. Any recommendations or formulas, or at least, where to take a look, some links or other sources would be appreciated....

It depends what header you mean: suction or discharge
Acording to the bitzer recomendations:
The diameter of suction header should be selected so that gas velocity at full load doesn't exceed 4 m/s
The cross section should at least correspond to the total of the cross section of the individual discharge line sectionIn some places will have to think ...

HEADER CAN BE ALSO BE SIZED VIA SLKEN PROGRAM . USE THE TOTAL REFRIGERATION LOAD TO FIND OUT THE HEADER SIZE .AND INDIVIDUAL DISCHARGE/ SUCTION LINE CAN BE FOUND WITH LOADING PROGRAM WITH INDIVIDUAL REFRIGERATION LOAD.
