Trane XL 900 high eff heat pump

Does anyone have a schematic for control/defrost board wiring on this condensing unit. I have a unit that was previously worked on.Have tested compressor with analyzer and it's good. Previous tech told owner unit needed compressor. Schematics panel is missing and all wiring has been disconnected. Contactor has also been removed.
    Thank You,
    Brian

I may be able to help, given the full model no, plus serial no. As Trane tend to update & hopefully improve thier product frequently, it's the best way to ensure you get the right info for your unit.
But what you've put there isn't a Trane model no, mate.
Sounds more like a 'series name', like the Voyager rooftops or the European 3-D Scroll ranges.
Anyway, if you can get the info I may be able to find something.
Out of curiosity, have you tried ringing Trane?

I screwed up the model number (so much for total recall).
    Condensing unit is:
Trane High Eff Weathertron heat pump.
    Model # TWD718A100A0
    Serial # CO 3231332
    Mfr. Date: 1/88
E-mailed Trane from there website. They forwarded me to their area dealer/distributor. Contacted them two weeks ago and still haven't gotten an answer. I primarily deal with GemAire dsitributor in this area. I don't think they are putting me at the top of their list.
Would recommend customer install new unit but this has a brand new compressor installed. Repair tech never finished the job. Customer has not be able to contact him.

You can always rip out the existing wiring and re-wire using off the shelf timers, de-frost modules etc. - it's only a heat pump

This is a pretty bad copy, but hopefully it will be of use.

Just got a chance to check this post. Thank you for the schematic. I won't get a chance to work on this unit until Sunday, folks are out of town. Once again Thank You
