Mark up
I know we operate in a highly competitive marketplace, recently when quoting on a cold room I noticed a wide variation in quotes from several companies, obviously the equipement being quoted was not "like for like" Some cold rooms are inferior quality with polystyrene foam, etc. But the customer dont give a toss, he only looks at the price. "Why that one cheaper then you ?, he ask!
On the other hand, I marked up 30% on the cost price of the room. I gather that is about right to remain competitive. Is it???
