Calculating necessary compressor HP for an anticipated cooling power?
Dear all,
I am hoping you can help me. I am trying to work out what sizes of compressor is required for a given cooling power for a single stage unit.
What I'd like to do is be able to plot the necessary sizes of compressor for cooling powers of 50W, 100W, 150W, and 200W. I'd then like to use the estimted HP value of the compressors to get a feel for their associated mass.
The net result would be a plot of mass of neccessary compressors for a given cooling power. Does anyone know how I could do this?
I've been wondering whether the coefficient of performance could be used to help in this way?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated!
