Had to share this since its the worst ive seen in 22yrs in the game. Apparently the customer met sparkies in the local who said they can install air con.

If you think this is bad, believe me it was a lot worse than it looks.

Kit cost £100 @ Macro. 10m pipe+insulation off flea bay £100. Install £200

Mains no isolator indoor or outdoor
mains wired through connector block direct to light circuit
3/8" suction pipe kinked.... How??
No pipe insulation above ceiling tiles
No water pump... gravity defying garden hose instead
Flares made with .. one can only assume a hammer
Suction flare behind wall mount cut away and replaced with 10mm microbore compression fitting.. these guys def dont like flares!
The "garden" drain hose was coiled up on ground outside
Outdoor unit fitted approx 2cm from wall
Obviously no fixings to secure outdoor

there could have been more just my heads fried thinking about it.

Oh yaeh there was a unsealed pipe entry my Labrador could have squeezed through. Free pizza for the local Rats

Forgot to add they left another tell tale sign they wernt professional air con installers.... there was about 4m of copper pipe left lying on the ground!
