E04 fault code on fan coil unit

    Hi

I have just installed 9 fan coil units for some reason 2 of them keep turning them selfs from the red light mode to orange flashing light mode on the fan coil unit, then coming up on the the fan coil controller with E04 fault code. And when this happens i then can't control the fan coil unit, its in a world of its own. And also when my fan coils are working some have just a red light on them and some have red and green light on them does any body no the reason why. The temperature shown on the controller dosnt seem to be the right temperature also. Im a little confused. If you could help that would be great.

    Hi Joneau
From your description I assume it is an Eliwell EWCM model.
The E04 is a High Pressure Alarm which will shut down everthing except a condenser fan motor if that is how it is programmed.

    Hi Len fiddler
I will have a look to see what model it is. But if what your saying is true what could be the cause of this?
    Thank you

    Good morning Joneau
When you confirm the model can you let me know what sensor you are using. Is is temperature or pressure.
