Packo milk tank system
Heres a couple of vids of a second hand milk cooling system i installed last year.
I did the refrigerant and chilled water pipework, the customer did the mains water pipe to the plate heat exchanger.
The system will cool milk from cow body temperature to around 4/7C in one pass and then chill to storage temperature in the tank.
I was called to replace a failed solenoid coil as you can see

Re: Packo milk tank system
Cheers! The customer sited all the equipment and i joined it all up, pipe work and wiring, and commissioned it. I did the hot and cold water supplies to the in built cleaning system too as the plumber had too much else to do on site!
All the stainless pipework is the parlour guys work as is the vacuum pumps and air comp in the plant room.
It made a nice change to have a play with some bigger stuff as most of what i do is 7/8 and 1/2 pipework and this was 1 3/8 and 5/8, only trouble i had was bending the 1 3/8 as i had lost a few kgs since last time and couldn't get the stand bender to move
