That will come in handy one day!

I don't know an Engineer that likes to throw anything away, myself included.
Recently I was presented with some Customer supplied Refrigerant.
    In Cylinders supplied by Unitor.
Mostly used in Marine applications down this way and a rare sight to the likes of me!

My std. Bottle adaptor did not fit but the (That may come in handy) Old R502 one did.

Therefore the 10,12, 15yr (not sure when last used?) old fitting finally was of use.
    Is this a record?

Are you referring to the size that's smaller than 5/8 but bigger than 1/2 ?

    ERM! Don't know.
It is the adaptor that I used to connect to std R502 cylinders.
I would say yes it is bigger than certainly 1/2.
    Is it relevant?
