Whirlpool fridge - fix it or dump it

Hi All,
I recently purchased a Whirlpool 445L white Fridge.
Model: WRID41TW fridge. A week ago, I noticed water dripping from top of the fridge to the bottom. Three days later, the fridge stopped working. The freezer is frosting. The technician deemed it beyond repairing. I want a second opinion whether to spend $$ to fix it or dump it.

Hi Alice, this fridge is a freezer top fridge below. Looks like its just 2 years old. Being a frost free with these problems suggests it is worth repairing. Defrost heater or timer failure.. mike.
