    Lightbulb Condenser Selection

    Hi,

I am now in a project of designing an AC recovery unit for Automobile service stations. I have selected the compressor but i couldnt select the size of the condenser. The compressor i have selected is

    Displacement :11.15cc
    Evaporating temp. Range : -30 to 5'C
    Motor Size : 275HP
    Compresssor capacity at -30'C = 141watts, at 5'C = 966 watts

So for the above compressor i have to select a suitable condenser. I want to know the size to be used i.e Height x Length x Width and No of rows and column of tubes, fan size.
The refrigerant i am using in R134a

Can anyone please help me out.

    Regards
    Vijay

Motor size: 275 HP. Is it the car engine?

    Sorry guys,

I have given it wrongly, the actual size is 1/3HP.The motor size i mean is the compressor motor size.

1/3 HP or 275 Watt is more or less the same nominal shaft power.

compressor capacity in kw + motor capacity in kw = condenser capacity

...supposing that the motor is operating at full nominal power. Also if it is a semihermetic or hermetic compressor the heat generated by the inefficiency of the motor should be counted.

    Re: Condenser Selection

You are all missing the point.

The OP wants someone to design a condenser coil him to handle the duty as he is unable to do it himself.
