Refrigerant R123 -Rubber Gasket Suitability
We have been using R123 on all our Chillers, be it Trane or York has rubber gaskets that always prone to leakages. Does anyone of you folks knows what type of rubber gaskets are suitable or resistive to Refrigerant 123 ?
Your info is gratefully appreciated. Thank.

Re: Refrigerant R123 -Rubber Gasket Suitability
i have used both nitrile and nebar orange and the oem supplier they all fail it is very aggresive refrigerant. You need to make sure it is trimed to be inside the flange as much as possible to ensure there is very little exposed to the refrigerant.
