    Hot gas defrost

As far as I know, in hot gas defrost systems, the hot gas comes from compressor, enters evaporator and leaves it.

My doubt is ? Does fluid becomes liquid inside the evaporator and come liquid in compressor suction line ?

Yes it does become liquid. You need to protect the compressor from this with a suction accumulator or by another means.

    Thank you

Do you think it's cold or hot, and close to saturation temperature ?

Also, in truck refrigeration systems, is it mandatory a suction line accumulator or the hose lengh is enough
for it go become vapour again ?
