Calculating the capacity of a heat pump
I generally design heat pumps using commonly available refrigeration parts.a lot of guess work has to be done.kindly suggest me how much heat could be extracted per hour using a one ton a.c. Compressor.
Eagerly waiting for a good suggestion.

Re: Calculating the capacity of a heat pump
"Design", "guess" which is it? second I suspect, I would recommend that you go to school and study refrigeration, this will help you understand your question. Then you can ask again with all the info required to answer the question.
I have a question "how long is a piece of string"
Same question as yours

Re: Calculating the capacity of a heat pump
LOL. I tried to answer this thread twice a few hours ago. Gave up as I felt that the OP needed to bring his own design calculations to the board, for checking & discussion.

Wow, the question alone does not really suggest designing...
