    Oil

Didn't knew in what section to post:
IN a Belgium magazine, Terre was an extract and an interview of the new book of Paul Roberts ' The end of Oil - On the edge of a Perilous New World'

After reading, i had to swallow more than once and became even more convinced that oil will be the most determining factor in political issues.

Have also a look at http://www.motherjones.com/news/qa/2...ul_rob_qa.html for an interesting interview with the writer of the book.

For us, refrigeration technicians, lower that HP with all possible means (ground coils, water, lakes, ponds, heat reclaim of hot water,...) and consumption will drop enormous. We did one and this winter, it ran almost 2 months on a LP of 4,3 bar/-5°C and a HP of 8,5 bar/15°C, 10 K subcooling which gave us a COP of more than 5.5!

Use of free cooling if possible.

Don't let all those packs run on a stable HP, whatever ambient temperatures may reach..

Size the lines with minimum prerssure drops.

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
