Getting acquianted with manifold guage. why does the low side stay on retard like foreever, when i turn off the machine?

hi for khan,
eather your suction gauge is stuck < or brocken< or the system has pumped down from a solinoid valve, or you have left a valve open on your gauges,
why you turn off the machine?

Depends on type of machine you are using it on.
For capillary unit the pressures will equalise when system off. If settle pressure above the 'retard' mark then gauge will stay there.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK
