You know their workshop has available the computer software (which every car dealership has these days supplied by the manufacturer) to connect and the Technician turns to you and says I wouldn't bother with using it! Whether they find a fault or not I think for peace of mind for both the customer and the Technician it is necessary to use in a case such as this.
I agree The control software should show what position the valves are at etc and what readings the thermisters are getting.
