hi,
i would like to know the development of technology through controlled atmosphere storage for storage of food products and difficulties in implementing the same.

Hi there,
This is a very huge area of study though very interesting.
There is guide book for different products : www.gtft.dk
there are three books about products, one is about CA.But only gives you the required atmospheric conditions. NOT about the system.
In brief : CA is a method of keeping fruits in cold room for a long time but preserving the quality. This system produces an atmosphere in the room which the fruit can not ripen. This is done by changing the percentages of N2, O2, CO2, ans ethylene.
The cold room must be constructed in a special way. The door must be air tight.
There are lots of companies which you can visit there sites and get info.
