Parker vs. Sporlan filter driers - any difference?

howdy all,

does anyone know if there is any difference in construction or quality between Parker and Sporlan liquid line filter driers? the metal housing looks different, but are there any internal differences?

Both are good quality products, read the specification sheets if you want more information on them.

Or, buy one of each and cut them open.

tried to find spec sheets on Parker's website, but that's a joke. their site's about as bad as Emerson's . I'm gonna try emailing them and see if they know anything. thanks Brian.

IN Filter-DRYER core used in it matters from filtration point of view , moisture handling capacity . Shell is of importance on marine OR corrossive climate / applications where in the shell specs need to check. Moreover , cores are probably sourced by PARKER / SPORLAN from vendors .

Since Parker owns Sporlan, the driers probably all come from the same sub supplier or manufacturer.

actually got a response from Parker this afternoon, they said they are not exactly the same. but who cares, they're both from reputable companies.
