CIAC Inverter Wiring
I have a CIAC 12,000 btu model : CG43AX012PH3H1C made by Carrier. I have doubts about the electrical wiring done. Inside the condenser unit have three screws in a row labeled as L1, L2, and G. Right below there are grounding screws.
L1 and L2 have 110V each, there is no problem with this. The G is connected to the ground bus, not the neutral bus as I thought.
I thought that four wires were required , two to supply 110V connected to the L1 and L2, one wire connected to the neutral going to G and a fourth wire connected from the ground bus to the chassis ground green screw.
Any comments are welcome.

Re: CIAC Inverter Wiring
L1 and L2 are two 110V phases and voltage between them is 220V. That mean that your unit is for 220V power supply and not for 110V. You don't need neutral since you don't need 110V.

Re: CIAC Inverter Wiring
And what does the G connector screw mean? Does it mean that the ground cable coming from the ground bus might be connected there, not in the neutral bus??
