    Converting a asorption frige

Hey yall cold you guys help me with some info on what would be needed to convert a asorption Dometic (RV style) side by side frige/freezer to vapor compression. I would like to use one (or a pair) of Danfoss's s small dc compressorsand heavily insulate the case. Would I be able to retain the evaporator and just replace the condenser and compressor?

    Peace&Love, Darren

    Re: Converting a asorption frige

The two system use completely different set ups.

Your original absorption system does not have a compressor as such.

Suspect the best option is to replace the whole unit.
