jh67 Guesthow to check oil level heremetic comp.
in order to check proper oil level in a heremetic comp. with a sight glass does the comp. need to be on or off, please help

But mostly they are done when running and again
normally there are marks for the max and the min levels.

normally it has to be of. but watch if the comp is running for nice movement. and the oil may not foam.
