    compressors&evap.

    I'm new in this area. I've two questiıon ;

    1. What is the diffrenece between screw and centrifugal compressors,
    2. We need 20C water at summer season. İs it possible to design an evaporator as 32C inlet and 20C outlet temperature ?

    Regards,

    1) plenty of websites for this information. The basic difference is that a screw compressor has a small displacement against the potential compression ratio, the centrifugal has a large displacement and a relatively smaller compression ratio.
    Mechanically, google for images and you'll see the difference.
    2) Yes, it is possible, but it would be a custom made evaporator. I don't think you can find anything like that ready made. But one never knows...

    Thank you,NoNickname. I'm afraid I've to buy custom made. But I think it uses less energy (high COP) than the ready made.
