LG CV-H246BLBO problem
Hi all,
Went to look at this ceiling mounted unit tonight and found when the controller is pointed at the unit and switched either on or off, the same thing happens.
louvers vibrate as they try to close further, even though they are already closed, for about 5 - 10 seconds. Also the power light(red) glows for about half a second and the unit then does nothing else. It seems like the unit wants to shut down no matter what. Switching power off and on had no effect.
I have read previous posts with similar problems, although not the same, I think it needs a new pcb.
System is only a couple of months old.
Any comments?

Re: LG CV-H246BLBO problem
Seems to me that LG are still not a reliable unit yet.

Re: LG CV-H246BLBO problem
Suggest you check the door switches. If door is hanging just enough to open switches the unit will not start. Door switches turn unit of so no harm when changing filter or plasma.
Make sure both switches pushed up and fire remote to see if unit starts.
Marc could be right but check switches first.
