Charging AC in extreme temps
I was wondering if their is anyway to charge a system after an install in a house that is now upper 90degrees, We have been in the attic putting in new system so all the heat is pulled down into the house. My real question is I don't want to have to return another day to recharge the system after it has cooled down. Can I charge it properly in 90 degree house temps? Thanks

Isn't there a nameplate with the weight?
I see a lot more problems when charging in winter where one tries to fill till its HP is high enough.
Is he unit capillary fed , TEV or EEV?
Fill till you have 10 K to 15 K superheat once the houses cools down to its normal summer setpoint. It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Yeah. More problems in getting the high pressure high in winter.
I don't see a problem in charging in a 90F environment.

Charging with AMP meter is a very bad practice.
Where will you get the correct AMP's?It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Re: Charging AC in extreme temps
hi peter 1
when the room reaches the desired temperature its not ideal but there is a limit we cant go beyond of course when its hot it pulls more amp&when its cold it pulls less any way most of ac have a plate &the weight of gas on it
i did not say thats ideal but it helps to be near the right way to do the job when there is lack of information
