all tho I'm a fridge engineer my own Hotpoint frost free ff model ff92s as stumped me I can set the fridge temp & it holds temp OK I cannot set the freezer temp it runs down to -30 yet reeds -5 is there a calibration on the intelligent controller or is it the probe

Like you Bob not my area of refrigeration.
But I would remove the probe or use a decade box on the controller input.
To observe any temp changes etc.
